Aniegbo Onyedikachi: The ADA OHANEZE ENUGU STATE

Story as she speaks on Her crown, scam in the Industry and the KEY to Success.

My name is Aniegbo Onyedikachi, a native of Nomeh in Enugu and a graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Currently  crowned and serving “ADA OHANEZE ENUGU STATE”
I thank God for the wonderful  privilege and blessings he bestowed on me and my special thanks goes to the President General of OhanaezeNdi Igbo ( Chief Gary Enwo-Igariwe), The project team, the organizers and Ohanaezein general for this opportunity and wonderful platform which was set to motivate the youths and to promote Igbo culture and the need to always embrace and represent our culture everywhere we go and never to let Igbo heritage and legacies be swept under the carpet.
Being a model has been fun and challenging experience for me. I have been in the industry for over four years and the road is full of challenges. But have come to realize that the ability to overcome those challenges has made me stronger and to become who I am today. i have worked very hard and determined in the past years and by the grace of God, today I am privileged to be crowned “ADA OHANEZE ENUGU STATE”, the title and crown which I clinched last year through hard work and determination.
Though one crown down, but I have never lost focus because my dreams is still big and I shall never rest until I reach my goals.
My advice to the upcoming models is to bear inmind that the road to success never comes easy, because there are loads and lots of challenges along the line which could tend to bring you down.
Lately, so many young girls have lost their dignity and prestige out of desperation of being a model, celebrity and superstar. While some are being sexually harassed or abused on many occasions because of what they call “payback”, others call it “scratch my back and I scratch yours”, because someone feels he has the power (politically or monetarily) to elevate you or place you where you desire.
The industry has turned to money hunting and money fetching affairs, whereby countless number of girls would be demanded to pay huge sum just to be featured in musical video, magazines or movies out of desperation of being a superstar or get noticed.
The only key to success are prayer and hard work. Believe in God and in yourself, develop your confident, stay focus, have a good attitude, be humble and swallow your pride. Above all, embrace God and He will elevate you to achieving your dreams.
